Miniature Bathroom Vanity and Sink

A miniature bathroom vanity with a built-in basin, made to stand against the wall of a 1:12 scale dollhouse bathroom and give the room a fixed piece that everything else can be arranged around. Because the basin sits on top of the cabinet rather than being a separate prop you have to balance in place, once the vanity is set down you have a natural spot for a mirror above it, a folded towel over the edge, or a few bottles lined up along the top. It belongs to the same 1:12 scale as the rest of the Mini Furniture range here, so it lines up with those 1:12 pieces without looking out of place, and the piece works as well in a single room box as it does in the corner of a bigger build.

You pay $69.99 for the vanity, and the compare-at price is $89.99. This is one product rather than a range of colours. All four photographs show the same vanity at $69.99, and every one of them is labelled as a main product photo, so the four images are easy to tell apart as you scroll.

If you are fitting out a whole room, the remaining pieces can be gathered from the the rest of the Mini Furniture and Scene Parts range, so the vanity works as a first purchase rather than one that has to complete the room on its own. Three points make this a sensible anchor for a bathroom scene. The basin comes with the vanity, so the water fixture is already part of the piece instead of a separate purchase.

The unit is designed to be the fixed element of a bathroom rather than an accessory, so you can build the rest of the room outwards from it. It also pairs with the shower room set, and the two together cover the wet side of a bathroom without you searching for parts that look as though they belong in the same room. Elsewhere on the site, Mini Furniture covers the seating and tables for the rooms next door, while Mini Plants and Stationery Props cover the small clutter that makes a scene look lived in, from a plant on the windowsill to paper left on a side table.

Scene Parts handles doors and windows if your bathroom wall has an opening in it. Detailed display miniatures reward a light touch. Lift the vanity by the body of the piece rather than by a thin edge or the basin lip, set it down on a flat surface, and dust it with a soft dry brush instead of a damp cloth.
